5 Service Terms (Short Form)
These terms apply to all pickup, handling, transport, and delivery services provided by or through OakTree Consolidated LLC (the “Carrier”) for any customer (“Customer”). By booking or using our services, you agree to these terms.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate item descriptions, dimensions, and access details at booking
- Disclose all Fragile or high-value items before pickup
- Ensure safe access for pickup and delivery (stairs, elevators, parking, gate codes, approvals)
- Have an authorized adult present to receive and inspect items at delivery
Delivery windows are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, mechanical issues, or access problems beyond our control.
6 Rapid Resolve — Optional 2.9% Protection
Rapid Resolve is an optional protection program for Fragile and higher-value Goods.
- Fee: 2.9% of the declared value of the Goods covered.
- Coverage applies only when items are disclosed before pickup and listed as covered on the invoice.
- Declared value and proof of value (e.g. invoice/receipt) are required for claims.
- Items must be reasonably packed/crated or packed by us (where offered).
Exclusions
- Pre-existing cracks, chips, scratches, wear, or structural weakness
- Damage due mainly to inadequate Customer packaging
- Minor cosmetic scuffs that do not affect normal use
- Events beyond our reasonable control (severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, etc.)
Claims
- Report Rapid Resolve claims within 48 hours of delivery
- Provide photos of the damage and packaging
- Include proof of value and booking/invoice number
7 Billing, Disputes & Governing Law
- Payment terms and any non-refundable fees are shown on your invoice or booking confirmation.
- Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, you agree to first contact us to attempt resolution.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States. Any legal action must be brought in Franklin County, Ohio.
